Isabelle Barikosky-Lucas

Isabelle Barikosky-Lucas is a seasoned cultural manager with extensive experience in cultural policy and project management. Currently serving as Directrice de la médiathèque d'Évry and responsible for cultural initiatives at Grand Paris Sud since January 2023, Isabelle previously held the position of Directrice des affaires culturelles at Ville de Créteil from June 2012 to November 2020, where responsibilities included strategizing and implementing the city’s cultural policy and coordinating cultural networks. Earlier roles included Directrice de la Maison de l'environnement, des sciences et du développement durable and Conservatrice du patrimoine at Communauté d'agglomération de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, where Isabelle managed cultural and educational projects. Educational qualifications include a DEA in political philosophy and political science from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, along with advanced studies in humanities at Lycée Fénelon and Lycée Louis le Grand.
