In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Staff Analyst, where they coordinated AR - Other, AR - Trade, and Owners Payable/Suspense account reconciliations and communicated monthly fluctuation analysis for AR balance sheet accounts. Austin worked in various positions at ConocoPhillips until 2019.

In 2019, Austin joined the Grand River Dam Authority as a Senior Utility Asset Analyst, where they worked until 2021. During this time, they provided valuable insights and expertise in utility asset analysis. Austin then became the Fixed Asset Accounting Supervisor, overseeing the fixed asset accounting functions.
