Nicole T. has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Nicole has held various leadership roles focused on quality, patient experience, and planning. Nicole has worked as a Vice President at Grand River Hospital, a Surveyor at Accreditation Canada, and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. Nicole has also worked as a Healthcare Consultant, Director, and Senior Director at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Additionally, they have held positions at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Bridgepoint Active Healthcare Sinai Health System, and the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. Throughout their career, Nicole has demonstrated expertise in healthcare quality, innovation, patient safety, and collaborative practice.
Nicole T. holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Toronto. Nicole also has a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MScOT) and a Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc), both obtained from Western University. Nicole has pursued Disability Studies and Health Science at Edith Cowan University as well. In 2018, they completed a certification as a Chief Quality Officer from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. Additionally, Nicole holds certifications as a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) from the Certification Board for Professionals in Patient Safety (CBPPS) and as a Certified Health Executive (CHE) from the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
