Felix Ngassa, Ph.D, MBA, currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs and a Professor at Grand Valley State University, specializing in organic chemistry and conducting research in synthetic and computational chemistry. Ngassa's academic career includes roles as Associate and Assistant Professor, where responsibilities encompassed teaching organic chemistry and mentoring undergraduate research. Prior to joining Grand Valley State University, Ngassa was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Michigan State University, focusing on synthetic organic chemistry and enzymology. Ngassa began the teaching career as a Chemistry Instructor at St. Joseph's College in West Africa and at Government High School Limbe. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Seidman College of Business at GVSU, a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of North Dakota, and a BS in Chemistry from The University of Yaounde 1.
