Chris Stanton

Chris Stanton is a seasoned process engineer with extensive experience in the mining and metallurgical sectors, currently employed at Grange Resources since July 2019. Previously, Chris held the position of Senior Metallurgist at SIMEC Mining Whyalla from October 2017 to June 2019, focusing on optimizing performance in the magnetite concentrator plant. Chris also served as a Senior Process Engineer at Arrium Mining from April 2015 to September 2017, overseeing project management for medium to long-term initiatives. Earlier roles include Process Engineer and Graduate Chemical Engineer at Arrium, where responsibilities encompassed innovative processing solutions and problem-solving through metallurgical analysis. Chris's career began with a vacation student position at OneSteel, offering foundational experience in iron ore beneficiation. Chris holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) with Honours from RMIT University.
