Joshua Woolley, P.E. has over 20 years of work experience, primarily in the construction industry. Joshua started their career as a Field Engineer at Granite Construction in 2001, where they were responsible for work planning and field engineering design for various projects.
In 2004, Woolley joined Ashland as a Project Engineer, where they worked on the Greensboro Western Urban Loop project. Their responsibilities included project planning, contracts management, CPM schedule controls, and cost/benefit analysis.
Woolley returned to Granite Construction in 2006 as a Structures Field Engineer, where they worked on the Bay St. Louis Bridge Replacement project. Joshua then served as a Project Controls Manager on the Intercounty Connector Contract A project, where they were responsible for project planning, financial controls, and change management.
In 2012, Woolley became a Senior Project Controls Engineer (Corporate) at Granite Construction, where they supported nationwide project delivery and project management practices. Their accomplishments in this role included developing a Standard Project Management Plan and corporate knowledge management systems.
Since 2015, Woolley has been serving as the Director of Project Controls at Granite Construction. In this role, they direct the system of Project Controls for the company and is responsible for building organizational capacity in Project Controls with processes, tools, training, and services.
Joshua Woolley, P.E. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, which they earned with honors (summa cum laude) from the University of Rhode Island.
