Juha Alhainen

Juha Alhainen has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Juha is currently working at Granlund as the Chief of Electrical Design, Electrical Specialist, Authorized Inspector, and Fire Investigator, a role they have held since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked at SSEP Finland Ltd for 10 years as an Authorised Electrical Inspector and High Voltage Specialist. Juha served as the Foreman and Chief of Electrical Installations at Ounasvirta Oy for a brief period in 2013. From 2008 to 2012, Juha worked at Alstom Grid as a Project Engineer. Before that, they held positions as an Installation Technician at YIT Teollisuus Oy and FogScreen Inc. In addition to their technical roles, they also had temporary teacher posts at Tampereen kaupunki - City of Tampere in 2007. Juha started their career as an Electrical Technician at Tampereen Keskustekniikka Oy in 2004, where they worked until 2007.

Juha Alhainen has an extensive education history that spans several institutions and fields of study. Juha began their academic journey in 2000 at Tampere Technical College (Tredu), where they earned a Technician degree in Automation and Electrical Technology in 2004. Following this, they enrolled at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Automation Engineer Technology from 2005 to 2009. Juha's educational pursuits culminated in their enrollment at Tampere University of Technology, where they completed a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Power Transmission Networks and markets from 2009 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Juha Alhainen has also obtained several certifications. Juha became an Authorized Electrical Inspector through Turvallisuus- ja kemikaalivirasto (Tukes) in September 2013. Prior to that, in August 2010, they attained the Electrical qualification 1 (S1) for all electrical works, including high voltage, from the same institution. Most recently, in March 2020, Juha acquired the Supervisor of building services certification from Rakennus-, LVI- ja kiinteistöalan henkilöpätevyydet FISE Oy.
