Jon Block

Jon Block has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Deputy General Counsel and Director of Public Policy and External Affairs at Grant Thornton International Ltd since November 2007. Prior to this role, Jon Block was Counsel to Commissioner Campos in the Office of the General Counsel at the US Securities and Exchange Commission from October 2004 to October 2007. Earlier in Jon Block's career, experience included working as an Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati from October 1997 to September 2004 and as a Law Clerk to the Honorable John M. Duhe, Jr. at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit from September 1996 to September 1997. Jon Block holds a JD from New York University School of Law (1996) and a BA in Economics and History from the University of Michigan (1991).
