Wanagalya Alex

Wanagalya Alex is an experienced audit professional currently serving as an Audit Associate at Grant Thornton (Uganda) since January 2023, specializing in external audit. Prior to this role, Wanagalya worked as an Auditor at JT Nyangenya and Associates Certified Public Accountant from June 2016 to December 2019, focusing on external auditing, financial advisory, and tax consultancy. Wanagalya holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Makerere University, completed in 2016, and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting at Makerere University, expected to graduate in December 2024. Additionally, Wanagalya is in the process of completing CPA certification, with an anticipated completion date in December 2023 from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda.
