William Chaplin, MASc.

William Chaplin, MASc. has a diverse work experience. William started their career as a Summer Intern at Columbia University in 2010. William then worked as a Research Associate at Queen's Genetically Engineered Machine Team (QGEM) in 2012. In 2013, they were a Clinical Research Associate at Columbia University in the City of New York. William later joined Queen's Healthcare and Business Conference as the Director of Engagement from 2015 to 2016. William pursued their Masters at Queen's University, where they also worked as a Research Assistant from 2014 to 2017. After completing their Masters, they joined Cardinal Health as an Operations Engineer, where they worked as a project leader and provided IT support from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they are working at Grantek as a Systems Designer and Sales Designer since 2018. In their current role, they collaborate with project leaders on automation and data management projects in a manufacturing setting, including SCADA deployments and facility expansions.

William Chaplin, MASc., has a solid education background in the field of chemical engineering. William attended Queen's University from 2015 to 2017 to pursue a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering at Queen's University from 2011 to 2015. William's educational journey began in 2008 when they attended a Specialized High School, where they focused on engineering within the Science program.
