Devaraju M Kempaiah

Devaraju M Kempaiah has significant work experience in the field of battery materials development and research. Devaraju currently holds the position of Battery Materials Development Lead at Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd, where they are responsible for leading the development of battery materials. Prior to this, they worked as a Battery Scientist (Materials Development) at the same company.

Devaraju M Kempaiah also has experience working in academia. Devaraju served as a Research Fellow at the University of South Australia from March 2019 to March 2021, where they contributed to advanced research projects. Before that, they held the position of Senior Research Associate at the same institution from January 2016 to February 2019.

Additionally, Devaraju M Kempaiah worked as an Assistant Professor at Tohoku University from April 2014 to November 2015, conducting research on lithium metal oxides. Devaraju then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Studies (Materials for environment, catalyst and luminescent materials) at Tohoku University, where they were awarded the Director's Prize upon completion of their degree in 2010.
