Eric Christie

Eric Christie, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Eric currently holds the position of Director of Claims Payment Operations at Gravie since December 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Optum for almost a decade as a Provider Reimbursement & Client Integration Manager, starting in June 2014.

Before joining Optum, Eric worked at Parallon as an Accounts Receivable Manager from February 2013 to March 2014. Eric showcased their leadership skills by leading teams, improving and expanding healthcare programs, and providing consultative services to healthcare systems. During their time at Parallon, they increased operating revenues while enhancing service utilization.

Eric Christie's professional journey started in the US Army as an Infantryman from 1998 to 2001. Eric served in various positions, including Manager and Operations Manager, where they demonstrated their ability to plan, execute, and finalize projects within budget and scope objectives. Eric effectively communicated and resolved project issues and risks, aligned staff resources with workflow requirements, and provided operational information in a highly dynamic environment.

Additionally, Eric honed their coaching and leadership skills as a Wrestling Coach at Clarksville Northeast High School from 2008 to 2013. Eric provided instruction and guidance to over 40 student-athletes, directed and coordinated the activities of the wrestling staff, and prepared analyses and tactical data of opponent teams.

Eric Christie, MBA, obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from The University of Arizona Global Campus in 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at The University of Arizona Global Campus in 2015. Eric also attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School.
