Abby Johnson has extensive work experience in marketing and communications roles. Abby started their career as an intern at WLEX-TV in 2006 and later served as an associate producer and weekend editor at the same company. Abby then worked in various roles at iEntry/WebProNews, including as a reporter/video coordinator, business development professional, and social media marketer. In these roles, they conducted video news broadcasts, secured interviews with notable personalities, and developed partnership agreements. Abby also worked as an independent consultant, where they executed marketing and communications campaigns and provided consulting services. Abby joined SugarSpun Marketing, Inc. as a marketing director in 2013, where they handled media, public relations, and marketing campaigns, and created original content. Currently, Abby is working at Gray as a senior director of communications, responsible for establishing and driving a multi-channel marketing communications strategy to support the company's business efforts. Abby has also held positions as a director, senior manager, and manager of communications within the company. Throughout their career, Abby has demonstrated expertise in strategic communications, brand strategy, social media, and public relations.
Abby Johnson has a diverse education history with a focus on communication and social media. From 2010 to 2015, they pursued a Master Certification in Social Media at Market Motive. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, Abby attended Morehead State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
