Benjamin Mercer, EIT has solid experience in the field of engineering, with their most recent position being a Project Engineer at Gray since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Denham-Blythe Company, Inc as a Field Engineer from May 2022 to February 2023, where they successfully managed the construction of various projects, including a wastewater treatment project in Burnside, KY and an office/warehouse building at the Nucor steel plant in Brandenburg, KY. Benjamin also gained valuable research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research from November 2021 to May 2022, conducting research on fiber reinforced concrete materials. Benjamin Mercer, EIT, completed their education in a chronological manner. In 2014, they obtained their High School Diploma from Henry Clay High School. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Kentucky in 2018 and attained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering in 2021. Continuing their pursuit of higher education, Benjamin completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Kentucky from 2021 to 2022.
