Shane Mullen

Shane Mullen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Shane is currently working as a Content Specialist at Gray since October 2021. Before that, they were a Freelance Copywriter at Creative Circle starting from June 2021. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Copywriter at Big Ass Fans, where they were responsible for various writing projects and achieved significant successes, including developing a successful digital marketing campaign and receiving recognition for advertising awards. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Secondary School Teacher at Jessamine County Schools, where they developed curriculum for career and business-related courses. In 2016, they worked as an ESL Teacher at the Ministry of Education in Dubai, UAE, where they taught English and business courses and provided professional development to native teachers. From 2013 to 2016, they were an ESL Teacher at Fayette County Public Schools, where they developed curriculum and delivered instruction to non-native English language learners.

Shane Mullen has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marshall University, which was obtained between the years of 2004 and 2008. The degree is in English with a writing strand. Following this, Shane pursued a Master of Arts degree in Secondary English Education at the University of Kentucky. This degree was completed between 2011 and 2012. Shane also holds additional certifications, including a Professional Teaching Certificate for English and Communications, Grades 5-12, which was obtained in July 2012 from the Education Professional and Standards Board in Kentucky. In July 2016, Shane obtained a Professional Endorsement for Teaching English as a Second Language, All Grades, from the Education Professional Standards Board in Kentucky.
