Víctor Manuel Peláez Martínez

Víctor Manuel Peláez Martínez began their work experience in 2003 as a Computer Technologies Teacher at Academia Trazos. In the same year, they also worked as a Software Engineer in the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering at Universidad de Oviedo. Their responsibilities included developing hardware devices for home automation and conducting research on home automation technologies.

In 2005, Víctor joined CTIC Centro Tecnológico as a Research engineer in the research group "4U" at the R&D department. Víctor Manuel held this position until 2011, during which they managed R&D and innovation projects at a Spanish and European level, focusing on eHealth, Smart Cities, and Internet of Things.

Víctor Manuel Peláez Martínez obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Oviedo from 1999 to 2003. Víctor Manuel then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, Víctor completed a Master's degree in Innovation Management and Business Development at Universidad de Oviedo. Víctor Manuel continued their education at the same university and obtained a PhD in Computer Science from 2011 to 2019.
