Lawrence Davies

Lawrence Davies has a diverse work experience in the field of public relations and communications. Lawrence began their career as a Public Relations Intern at W Communications in 2013 and eventually became an established Account Executive within the vibrant consumer division. Lawrence worked with multiple consumer accounts and gained experience with clients such as Jawbone, Addison Lee, Huawei, nest, Relish Broadband, E&J Gallo, and Kopparberg. Lawrence then joined The Wern as a Senior Account Executive and later transitioned into the role of an Account Manager. In this position, they forged and built client relationships, grew a strong network of media contacts, and provided creative and strategic solutions to clients' communications problems.

After their tenure at The Wern, Lawrence joined Macmillan Cancer Support as a Media and PR Officer (Fundraising). Here, they devised and delivered crucial PR campaigns for fundraising events, raising over £5 million, and demonstrated their strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Lawrence continued their career as a Senior Account Manager at markettiers, where they led a team in crafting creative ideas for B2C and B2B clients, driving their brand awareness across TV, radio, and online platforms. Lawrence showcased their ability to produce high-quality content within tight deadlines and contributed to various thought leadership reports and client pitches.

Following their role at markettiers, Lawrence joined AMBITIOUS PR as a Senior Consultant. Lawrence held a long-term consultancy contract with the agency and led the PlayMoreGolf account while providing additional strategy and account management for B2B and B2C clients.

In 2021, Lawrence worked as a Senior Consultant at Where Eagles Dare, focusing on providing consultancy and PR services. Lawrence then joined Winchester City Council as the Head Of Media (interim), where they worked directly with senior leadership and external groups, providing strategic advice and managing the press office and daily inquiries. Lawrence played a vital role in supporting internal and external communications, including the council's COVID-19 response and key campaigns such as the Carbon Neutrality Actions Plan and supporting local businesses and the economy.

Most recently, Lawrence is working at Grayling as an Associate Director. Lawrence began their position in May 2023, and prior to that, they were a Public Relations Consultant at the company.
