Geraint Mathias

Geraint Mathias is a seasoned operations director with extensive experience in mineral processing and mining. Currently serving as Director of Operations for Graymont in South East Asia since August 2019, Geraint oversees lime calcination and limestone mining in Malaysia and the Philippines. Prior to this, Geraint held multiple leadership roles at Sibelco Group from June 2008 to July 2019, including Director of Operations and Regional Operations Manager, where responsibilities encompassed financial and operational management across various mining operations in Queensland. Geraint's expertise also includes business development, mine planning, and geosciences, with previous roles at Consolidated Rutile Limited and as a geologist in diverse international settings. Geraint holds a Master of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from The University of Auckland.
