Niki Thay

Niki Thay has extensive experience in audio engineering, post production sound mixing, and video production. In 2021, they began working as an Assistant Audio Engineer for Grayson Music, where they recorded in-house and remote talent, produced, edited and mixed music, dialog, and sound design for commercials in North America, and maintained the studio. Projects included Icebreaker New Zealand, Pepsi - Better With Pepsi, Philly Cream Cheese Director's Cut, and RXBAR AM Director's Cut. From 2016 to 2019, they operated their own freelance business focusing on post production for sound and video, completing projects for clients such as United Way, Tangerine Bank, CBC, The Royal Bank of Canada, Amnesty International, Toronto Star, Ryerson University, and J. P. Niki also worked as an Audio Engineer for Onextra in 2019, a Junior Mixing Engineer for Pet Shop Productions in 2017, a Production Assistant for RTA Productions in 2014, a Podcast Producer for Ryerson University in 2016, a Post Production Supervisor and Videographer for Camp Walden in 2016, and a Video Production Specialist for Ryerson Athletic Centre in 2015.

Niki Thay attended Ryerson University from 2014 to 2018 and earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Television Arts.
