Magdalene Sim

Magdalene Sim is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in strategic and creative communications across various sectors. Since 2012, Magdalene has served as the Director of Communications at Great Forest, where key responsibilities include leading digital marketing initiatives and managing content creation. Magdalene held the same position at Pure Earth from 2021 to 2024, overseeing communications for a prominent environmental health NGO. Previously, Magdalene worked at the J. Paul Getty Trust as Principal Projects Manager, ensuring consistent messaging across the institution's programs while producing key materials such as annual reports and newsletters. Earlier career roles include Communications Manager/Senior Writer at Pamela Johnson Associates and Senior Publicist/Writer at Serino Coyne, Inc., where Magdalene developed campaigns for major cultural events and media projects. Magdalene holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing Communications from Boston University.
