Chuck Cooper

Chuck Cooper is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in infectious diseases and healthcare leadership. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at bioMérieux since January 2024, Chuck Cooper has held multiple significant roles, including Mid-Atlantic Steering Committee Member for The American Academy of HIV Medicine and HIV/Infectious Disease Specialist at Greater Baden Medical Services, Inc. Since 2019. Previous positions include Chief Medical Officer at Siemens Healthineers and Global Vice President at BD, among others. Chuck Cooper has also contributed to the FDA as Acting Deputy Office Director and Lead Medical Officer. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University and executive training from The Wharton School.
