Carly Margolis

Carly Margolis is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney in the Consumer Rights Unit and as a Southgate Fellow in the Housing Unit at Greater Boston Legal Services since August 2022. Previously, Carly worked as a Student Attorney at Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, specializing in eviction defense, benefits, and wage theft cases. Relevant experience includes an internship at the Roderick & Solange MacArthur Justice Center focusing on police misconduct and prison conditions, as well as a litigation internship with the ACLU of Northern California addressing issues in criminal justice and reproductive rights. Carly's diverse background also includes organizing efforts for immigrant support at Episcopal City Mission and program management at The Mind and Life Institute. Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics and Contemplative Studies from Brown University.
