Shavon Williams

Shavon Williams is an experienced professional in social services and domestic violence advocacy, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Empowerment Expressions since October 2023. The organization focuses on empowering survivors of trauma and adversity through multi-lingual greeting cards and gifts. Concurrently, Shavon works as a Liaison for Greater Boston Legal Services, providing social services support through the Family Preservation Project. Shavon's extensive background includes roles as a Senior Family Advocate at Riverside Community Care, a Domestic Violence Specialist and Consultant at the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts, and various positions at Casa Myrna, including Dorchester Community Engagement Coordinator and Community Advocacy Specialist. Shavon holds a Master’s degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
