Ernie Lamour

Ernest Lamour serves as President and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Rochester since January 2023, following a distinguished tenure as President and CEO of Ridgewood YMCA from December 2016 to December 2022 and Chief Executive Officer of Stamford YMCA from December 2008 to December 2016. Additionally, Ernest has held a position on the Board of Directors at Ascendia Bank from June 2021 to December 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Athletics Director at the Jewish High School of CT and various roles at the Stamford Jewish Community Center, including Director of Youth Programs and Assistant Director of the JCC Maccabi Games. Ernest holds a Master of Science in Sport Management from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Southern Connecticut State University.
