Abirami Kaliyaperumal

Abirami Kaliyaperumal has extensive experience in environmental management and consultancy. Currently serving as a Solid Waste Management Monitoring and Evaluation professional at Greater Chennai Corporation since September 2017, Abirami previously worked as a Junior Consultant at Hubert Enviro Care Systems Pvt. Ltd. from October 2016 to August 2017, and as a Research Fellow at the University of Madras from October 2015 to July 2017. Abirami's earlier roles include Environmental Engineer at VDB Projects (P) Ltd, where responsibilities included organizing environmental and social impact surveys, and Project Coordinator at Pure Enviro Engg Pvt Ltd, focusing on various environmental clearances. Abirami also has experience conducting Environmental Impact Assessments for mining projects while at Creative Engineer and Consultants. Abirami holds a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Environmental Toxicology from the University of Madras, obtained in 2009.
