Meera Sundararajan

Meera Sundararajan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management, evaluation, and gender policy initiatives. Currently serving as Team Lead for the Gender and M&E at Greater Chennai Corporation since February 2022, Meera previously operated as a Project Management Consultant and a freelance consultant from October 2019 to February 2022. Prior roles include General Manager of Programs at Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives, Director of Program Operations at Landesa, and Sustainability Manager at Mondelēz International. Meera's early career includes significant contributions as Manager of Monitoring and Evaluation at Care India and as Chief Executive Officer of the Tamil Nadu State NGO and Volunteer Resource Centre. An educational foundation in social work and agriculture was established with degrees from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University.
