April Maroney

April Maroney is an experienced professional with a diverse background in operations, customer service, and program management. Currently serving as Executive Assistant and Children’s Program Lead at the Greater Chicago Food Depository, April plays a pivotal role in addressing childhood hunger in Cook County through various food programs. Previously, April held significant roles at DG, including Vice President of Service & Operations - Central, where oversight of a 126-person staff and a $52 million sales operation was essential. Earlier career experiences include leadership in training and development at FastChannel and progressive roles in customer service at DG Systems. April holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Northern Illinois University and is pursuing additional studies at Pluto Living University.
