Patrice Blakemore has a diverse and extensive work experience. They began their career in 2007 as a Confidence Expert and Motivational Speaker at Blakemore Coaching, where they developed and managed programming for diversity programs, facilitated team-building activities, and provided clients with effective strategies for personal and professional development.

In 2013, Patrice joined Cuyahoga Community College as a Business Advisor for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. They recruited diverse companies for the program, supported business owners in developing strategic plans, and coached them on courageous workplace conversations.

In 2018, Patrice became the Business Services Director at Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses at Cuyahoga Community College. They ensured program consistency, collaborated with partners, implemented efficient processes, and received the Professional Excellence Award.

From 2019 to 2022, Patrice worked as the Executive Director at Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, where they led the implementation of the strategic plan, increased diversity in the program, and developed a hiring process for staff and faculty.

Currently, Patrice is the Senior Vice President of Equity & Inclusion at the Greater Cleveland Partnership. In this role, they head the Equity and Inclusion department, focusing on scaling minority-owned businesses, increasing diversity in middle and high-wage positions, and supporting regional digital equity.

Patrice Blakemore completed their education at two renowned institutions, starting with their undergraduate studies at Spelman College. From 1990 to 1994, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, acquiring a strong foundation in the language and literature. Later, Patrice enrolled at the University of Dayton School of Law, where they dedicated herself to the field of law between 1996 and 1999. During this period, they successfully earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, preparing their for a career in the legal profession.
