Katy Leclair has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. Katy began their career as an Aquatics Coordinator at Gateway Region YMCA in 2003 and later served as an Aquatics Director at YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago. In 2007, they became an Associate Executive Director/Director of Operations at YMCA of Greater Miami (now YMCA of South Florida). Katy then joined Kankakee Area YMCA as an Associate Executive Director, where they significantly increased the number of youth served and secured substantial grant funding. In 2011, they became the Executive Director at YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, where they implemented operational restructuring and focused on creating a culture of continuous improvement. After that, they worked as a Senior Vice President/COO at Greater Joliet Area YMCA, leading cross-functional teams and achieving revenue growth. Katy then served as the Chief Executive Officer at 360 Youth Services, supporting a team dedicated to providing vital services to youth. Currently, they are the President & CEO of Greater Joliet Area YMCA, where they successfully navigated the organization through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and sustained its operations. Throughout their career, Katy Leclair has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a focus on mission-alignment, and a commitment to youth development and social responsibility.
Katy Leclair attended Webster University from an unknown start year until 2003, where they obtained a B.B.A. in Business Administration. Following this, they attended Western Michigan University Cooley Law School until 2008 and earned a Juris Doctor degree with a focus in General Practice.
