Joe Robertson

Joe Robertson has extensive experience in journalism and communications, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving in a communications role at the Local Investment Commission (LINC) since March 2019, Robertson previously held various positions at The Kansas City Star from 2001 to 2019, excelling as a criminal justice and education reporter. Earlier experiences include a special projects reporter role at Tulsa World Media Company, a news columnist at Daily Southtown, and reporting on federal courts and criminal justice for The Tulsa Tribune. The career began as a sports writer at The Daily Ardmoreite. Joe Robertson earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from The University of Tulsa between 1980 and 1984.
