Rachael Hickman has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rachael held various roles in different organizations. In 2000, they worked as a Personal Assistant at Cartier until 2003. From 2003 to 2009, they served as a Project Director at Impetus Consulting Ltd. This was followed by their role as the Principal Project Manager at the London Development Agency from 2009 to 2011, where they managed environmental projects and developed a delivery model for home energy efficiency. In 2011, they joined the Greater London Authority as a Project Manager and later became the Head of Housing Delivery and Compliance in 2019. During their time at the Greater London Authority, they played a significant role in creating and delivering the RE:NEW Programme, a domestic retrofit program. In 2017, they became the Senior Area Manager (North East) and served in this position until 2019. Rachael also served as a Governor at Manuden Primary School from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they are a Board Director at Barking Riverside Limited, where they oversee major expenditure, commercial viability, and senior appointments.
Rachael Hickman completed their BSc (Hons) degree in Ecology from Durham University from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Framlingham College from 1991 to 1996, but no specific degree or field of study information was provided for this period.
