Paul Morgan FCIWM has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Paul began their career at Macclesfield Borough Council, where they served as the Head of Service for Waste and later as Corporate Manager for Streetscene. In these positions, Paul managed waste-related activities, conducted service reviews, and developed waste strategies.
Paul then joined Orea Resource Management as the Managing Director, overseeing the company's operations. Paul later became the Managing Partner at Orea Resources LLP.
Paul joined Amec Foster Wheeler as an Associate Director, where they directed and managed assignments for waste and environmental services. Paul played a crucial role in improving waste-related activities through service reviews, commercialization, procurement, and waste knowledge enhancement. Paul's recent projects included coordinating commercial waste collection service development studies, reviewing household waste collection services, and supporting both public and private sectors in contract negotiations and tendering for waste collection contracts.
In 2012, Paul joined Wood as an Associate Director, specializing in waste management. Paul brought their technical expertise and leadership skills to the company until 2019 when they started working as the Head of Commercial Services at Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
Paul Morgan FCIWM pursued their education at Aberystwyth University, starting with a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Geology from 1989 to 1992. Following this, they went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Environmental Rehabilitation from the same institution for the duration of 1993 to 1994.
