Leo John Arnett is an experienced professional in policy advising and community engagement, currently serving as a Policy Advisor and Special Assistant to the CEO at Greater New Orleans, Inc. since June 2022. Previously, Arnett held various roles including Business Environment Associate and William “Bill” Oliver Fellow. Experience includes an internship with the U.S. Department of State focusing on maritime Southeast Asia, and managing voter outreach efforts for Karen Carter Peterson's congressional campaign. Arnett has contributed to local governance as a Policy Research Assistant for the New Orleans City Council and as an intern in the U.S. House of Representatives. Educational background includes a degree in International Affairs with a concentration in International Political Economy from Georgetown University.
