Rebecca Lovell has an extensive work experience in various organizations and roles.

Rebecca is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Greater Seattle Partners since March 2023.

Before that, they worked as the General Partner at TA Group Holdings from January 2022 to March 2023.

Rebecca also served as the Chief Executive Officer at Denali Founder Consulting from February 2021 to March 2023.

Rebecca has been associated with the University of Washington since 2008, initially as an Adjunct Faculty/Instructor for Entrepreneurship. In this role, they taught various courses and worked extensively to evaluate entrepreneurial deals and develop negotiation skills.

Rebecca also served as the Executive Director at Create33, a resource center and membership organization for technology startups, from October 2018 to December 2020. In this role, they set the vision and strategy for the program and designed a Startup Success program for BIPOC technology founders.

Prior to that, they worked at the City of Seattle in various roles. Rebecca was the Acting Director of the Office of Economic Development from November 2017 to October 2018, the Deputy Director from August 2016 to November 2017, the Director of Entrepreneurship and Industry from September 2015 to August 2016, and the Startup Advocate from March 2014 to September 2015. In these roles, they led various initiatives and programs to promote economic development, support startups, and address workforce development issues.

Rebecca also served as the Interim Executive Director at Northwest Entrepreneur Network in 2013 and the Interim CEO at Vittana Foundation in the same year.

Rebecca started their career at GeekWire, where they worked as the Chief Business Officer from 2011 to 2013. In this role, they led the media startup to profitability and managed sales, operations, and community partnerships.

Before that, they served as the Executive Director at Northwest Entrepreneur Network from 2009 to 2011. In this role, they designed and delivered educational and networking programs for entrepreneurs.

Rebecca Lovell earned their MBA in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business from 2004 to 2006. Rebecca also completed an Executive Education program called Young American Leaders Program at Harvard Business School in 2015. Earlier, from 1989 to 1993, they obtained their BA in History from Carleton College.
