Jason Outman

Jason Outman, CDME, CASE has a diverse and extensive work experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. Jason is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Greater Tampa REALTORS® since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the President & CEO of the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce from January 2021 to March 2023, where they played a vital role in setting the strategic direction for the organization and promoting economic development in the area.

From 2014 to January 2021, Outman worked as the Executive Director of Experience Columbia SC, overseeing the marketing efforts for a destination with over 11,600 hotel rooms and 14.8 million annual visitors. Jason also held the position of Director of Sales & Services at Experience Columbia SC from 2010 to 2014, contributing to the organization's success.

Before joining Experience Columbia SC, Outman served as the Director of Tradeshow Sales at Cobb County Convention & Visitors Bureau from October 2007 to July 2009. Prior to that, they worked as the National Sales Manager at Georgia World Congress Center from April 2005 to October 2007.

Jason Outman, CDME, CASE has a Bachelor of Applied Arts (B.A.A) degree in Communications and Sports Management from Central Michigan University, which they obtained between 1996 and 1999. Jason also holds an MBA in Hospitality and Tourism from Strayer University. In addition, they have obtained additional certifications including the Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) from Destinations International in 2020 and the Certified Association Sales Executive (CASE) from PCMA in 2007.
