Steve Maat

Steve Maat, SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Steve is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at GreatWater Garages, where they focus on supporting partners and customers in the automotive aftermarket. Prior to this, Steve worked as a Human Resources Manager at Magna International and Wolverine Worldwide. Steve also served as the Director of Human Resources at Display Pack Inc and Super Service, LLC, where they played a key role in driving success for the organizations. Steve began their career as the Director of Human Resources at Gainey Transportation Services and held this position for eight years. Throughout their career, Steve has demonstrated a commitment to building success, developing innovative solutions, and driving sustainable practices.

Steve Maat, SHRM-SCP holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Ferris State University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1997. Steve has also obtained additional certifications, including being an ALICE Certified Instructor from the ALICE Training Institute in August 2018, a Senior Certified HR Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in June 2018, and a Kolbe Certified Consultant from the Kolbe Corp in April 2018.
