Alex Azadegan

Alex Azadegan has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Alex is currently serving as the Projects & Operations Manager at Green Biofuels Limited UK since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ExxonMobil for several years in various roles. From January 2022 to July 2022, they held the position of Planning Team Lead. Alex then worked as a Jet, Distillate & Bio-Fuel Co-Ordinator from August 2020 to January 2022, where they managed 170kbd of inventory movements for middle distillates. Before this, Alex served as an Operations Manager from January 2018 to August 2020, overseeing the operations of a Lubes manufacturing plant and Diesel Hydrotreater. Alex'sresponsibilities included managing a team of shift supervisors and operations technicians. Additionally, they worked as a Lead Engineer from September 2016 to December 2017, a Contact Engineer from August 2015 to September 2016, and a Development Engineer from July 2012 to August 2015. Alex also gained industry experience as an Industrial Placement Student at ExxonMobil from July 2012 to August 2013.

Alex Azadegan obtained their Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham from 2009 to 2014.
