Summer Loveland

Summer Loveland is the current Chief Accounting Officer at Green Brick Partners. Summer has held this position since November of 2017 and is responsible for overall management of the accounting, SEC reporting, internal audit, IT, treasury, and risk management functions. Prior to their current role, Ms. Loveland served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Dallas Police & Fire Pension System from 2013 to 2017 where they were heavily involved in managing through financial challenges faced by the pension system during that time. Ms. Loveland began their career in 1999 as a Senior Manager at KPMG.

Summer Loveland has a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University and an MBA in General Business from Southern Methodist University. Summer is also certified as a Certified Public Accountant from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and the California Board of Accountancy.

They are on a team with Steve Schermerhorn - President, CB JENI & Normandy Homes, Richard A. Costello - Chief Financial Officer, and Warren S. Jolly - President The Providence Group. Summer Loveland reports to James R. Brickman, CEO & co-Founder.
