Alejandro Lirusso

Alejandro Lirusso is a seasoned professional in sustainable building practices, currently serving as the Principal CEO of Bioe - Habitat Performance Designers since January 1998. Lirusso holds various credentials, including SITES AP with The Sustainable SITES Initiative since August 2017 and Edge Expert & Auditor for EDGE Buildings since May 2016. As a Living Building HERO with the International Living Future Institute since January 2012, Lirusso is recognized as the first Latino American recipient of this distinction. Lirusso also contributes as an Ambassador/Facilitator and Well AP for the International WELL Building Institute since February 2015 and has been a LEED Green Associate with the US Green Building Council since December 2014. Additionally, Lirusso holds the presidency of CUBE, a foundation advocating for sustainable community transitions, and has held leadership roles in various organizations including The Climate Reality Project and SUMe Sustentabilidad para México. Lirusso's academic credentials include a Master's in Renewable Energies from CEUPE - European Business School and a degree in Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
