Lee Cando-Noordhuizen

Lee Cando-Noordhuizen currently serves as a Programme and Technical Advisor for the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region at the Green Climate Fund, providing guidance on GCF policies, facilitating consultations, and offering technical assistance for climate finance access. Previous experience includes a role as a Climate Change and Operations Specialist at the World Bank, where contributions included technical advice on lending operations and strategic leadership for climate-related initiatives. Lee has also held positions at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), UNFCCC, and the Global Environment Facility, among others, focusing on climate policy, finance, and international negotiations. Lee holds various degrees, including an MA in Environment, Policy, and Society from The Open University and has participated in development evaluation and results-based management training.
