Jennifer Jones, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Jennifer is the Founder, Advisor, and Former CEO of Green Ivy Schools, a private organization that develops and manages innovative preK-12th grade schools and programs. Jennifer also founded Future Earth Academy, a new model of education for high school-aged learners that emphasizes engagement in the real world through direct mentorship.
Additionally, Jennifer has held the role of Director of Development & Operations at Empire, where they are leading the redevelopment of the legendary Brooklyn nightlife spot, Empire Roller Dome, with a focus on community impact and elevating culture. Jennifer is also a School & Workforce Development Consultant for the Transportation Diversity Council Boarding School & Workforce Program.
In the past, Jennifer was the Founder & CEO of LearnGarden, Inc., a company that delivered training, consultation, and resources for parents, schools, non-profits, and government entities. Jennifer has also been a School Development Consultant for the Leona Group, where they developed schools and programming in urban regions across the U.S.
Jennifer's experience extends to international educational programming as well. Jennifer worked as a Travel School Program Consultant for the Young Presidents' Organization, designing and executing educational programming for Fortune 500 CEOs and their families. Jennifer has also been involved in gifted middle and high school program development at Hunter College and school development at the Rhinelander Children's Center. Additionally, Jennifer has contributed to parent education and strategic planning at the Parents' League of New York.
Throughout their career, Jennifer has published a book on parenting and conducted workshops on various topics related to child development.
Jennifer Jones, Ph.D. holds a Ph.D. in International and Transcultural Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Jennifer also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a concentration in Economic Development & Community Empowerment from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
