Ian McGregor has worked in a variety of roles in the marketing and gaming industry. Ian started their career in 1990 as a Company/ Platoon Commander for the British Army. In 1999, they moved to Publicis London where they were a Board Account Director with full P&L responsibility on a variety of core Domestic and International clients. In 2004, they became the International Consumer Marketing Director at Electronic Arts EU HQ in Switzerland. In 2010, they were VP EU & International Consumer Marketing & Shared Services (EMEA CMO) at Activision, where they led the EU & International consumer team and was a member of the Activision EU & International Leadership team and Global Consumer Mktg Leadership team. In 2014, they became the Group Marketing Communications Director at Dixons Carphone. In 2016, they took a sabbatical and embarked on a dream project to build their own house. In 2017, they took on two roles, Chief Marketing Officer, Head of Publishing & Content Acquisition at Green Man Gaming and Chief Revenue Officer (Interim) at invinsec.
Ian McGregor attended Pangbourne College from 1982 to 1988 and Royal Military Academy Sandhurst from 1990 to 1991, where they studied Military and Strategic Leadership.
