👨🏾💻👩🏻💻👩🏽💻 Jack McGuire

Jack McGuire has over 6 years of experience in software engineering. 👨🏾‍💻👩🏻‍💻👩🏽‍💻 Jack began their career as a Junior Software Developer at Electronic Shipping Solutions (now essDOCS) in 2014. 👨🏾‍💻👩🏻‍💻👩🏽‍💻 Jack then worked as a Contracted Software Developer for essDOCS in 2016. In the same year, they took up a role as a Junior Software Developer at Brandworkz. In 2017, they were a Full Stack Java Developer at Grabyo and a Staff Engineer at Green Man Gaming. During their time at Green Man Gaming, Jack was proficient in programming languages such as Golang, Scala, JavaScript, and Python. 👨🏾‍💻👩🏻‍💻👩🏽‍💻 Jack led multiple migration projects to the cloud using AWS technologies, resulting in significant cost savings and increased reliability for the company. In 2019, Jack became a Twitch Extensions Developer for Stat-Milestones, a popular Twitch Extension developed as part of an AWS/Twitch hackathon. Since its launch, the extension has achieved 600+ daily concurrent streamers, up to 50,000 Twitch viewers per month, and 14 million impressions.

Jack McGuire's education history includes completing a BSc Hons in Computer Science from the University of Derby between 2012 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a BTEC Extended Diploma Level 3 in Software Development from Bromley College of Further & Higher Education between 2010 and 2012. 👨🏾‍💻👩🏻‍💻👩🏽‍💻 Jack also completed their GCSEs from Deptford Green in 2005-2010.
