Dr. Rolita Flores Ezeonu has a diverse range of work experience in various educational institutions. Dr. Rolita started their most recent position as the Vice President of Instruction at Green River College in July 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs at Highline College from April 2017 to June 2018. Dr. Rolita also held the role of Dean of Instruction for Transfer and PreCollege Education at Highline College from July 2008 to April 2017. Dr. Ezeonu worked as an Adjunct Professor at Seattle University from September 2013 to June 2017. Dr. Rolita began their teaching career as a Tenured Faculty member at Highline Community College from September 1998 to April 2006. Additionally, they have experience as a Visiting Professor at Fulbright Hayes Scholar, Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu, Nigeria, and the University of Hawaii Windward Community College. Dr. Rolita also worked as an Instructor at North Seattle Community College from September 1998 to August 2000 and at Holy Family Academy from August 1995 to June 1996.
Dr. Rolita Flores Ezeonu has a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Dr. Rolita then pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Public Relations) with a minor in Spanish at Washington State University. Dr. Rolita later obtained a Master of Arts in Intercultural Communication/Media Management from Washington State University as well. Dr. Rolita furthered their education by earning a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Seattle University. Additionally, they participated in a program in Professional Education focused on Closing the Achievement Gap at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
