Chris Cooper has over 20 years of work experience in the field of Chemical Engineering. Chris began their career in 1994 as a Student Laboratory Technician at Sandia National Laboratories, where they were responsible for quantifying the corrosion resistance of various alloys with and without surface modification. In 1998, they joined Halliburton as a Chemical Engineer, where they assisted in the development of products to be sold for the stimulation of oil and gas well production. In 1999, they worked as a Chemical Engineer at Environmentally Safe Cleaning Alternatives (ESCA) Inc. and also served as a Chemistry, Math, and Physics Tutor at CNM - Central New Mexico Community College. From 2000 to 2014, they worked as a Chemical Engineer at Boeing, where they were engaged in applied research for many high-powered chemical laser projects. In 2014, they joined Green Theme Technologies LLC as a Research Chemical Engineer, where they assisted in the product development of an Eco-friendly Hydrophobic dry-finishing technology. Chris also contributed to the characterization of a time temperature transformation curve for complete decomposition of the initiator driving the radical polymerization chemistry.
Chris Cooper attended The University of New Mexico from 1992 to 1997 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
