Katie Butson

Katie Butson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Katie is currently working as a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at Green Thumb Industries (GTI) since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Home Chef from 2018 to 2021, starting as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and moving up to become a Talent Acquisition Manager. At Home Chef, Katie was involved in building new ways to provide meal solutions and growing the team.

Before Home Chef, Katie worked at Objective Paradigm from 2016 to 2018, initially as a Technical Recruiter and then as their internal Talent Acquisition lead. Objective Paradigm is a technical recruiting firm located in Downtown Chicago. Katie's responsibilities included attracting, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding team members for Objective Paradigm and their clients.

In addition to their role at Objective Paradigm, Katie has also worked at onPeak | GES from 2011 to 2016, starting as an Event Coordinator and progressing to become an Account Manager and later an Account Executive. Katie also had a role as a Catering Intern/Picnic Supervisor at Kane County Cougars Baseball in 2010.

Katie's career began in 2005 at Computer Dynamics of North West IL LLC, where they worked as an Administrative Assistant until 2011.

Katie Butson obtained their Bachelor's degree in Communications, Hospitality Management, Recreation, Park, and Tourism Administrations from Western Illinois University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In addition, they obtained a BASSET Certification in September 2010.
