Birgit Weische

Birgit Weische has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Birgit is currently working as a CHRO at Green since December 2021. Prior to that, they served as the HR Director SAG Schweiz AG at Swiss Automotive Group AG from August 2020 to November 2021. Birgit also held the role of CHRO at Swiss Automotive Group AG from November 2013 to August 2020. Before joining Swiss Automotive Group AG, Birgit worked as the Group Director Human Resources at ExecuJet from August 2008 to October 2013. Prior to that, they served as the Director HR at Hewlett-Packard from September 2006 to July 2008. Birgit also worked as a Legal Counsel at Hewlett-Packard (Schweiz) GmbH from August 1997 to September 2006. Birgit has managerial experience as well, having worked as the Manager Export Department at Kompexim AG from September 1990 to July 1997. Birgit started their career as a Konsulatssekretär at the German Foreign Office in September 1982 and worked there until August 1990.

Birgit Weische completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Fachhochschule des Bundes für öffentliche Verwaltung in 1989. Birgit then pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Economic Law at the University of Zurich from 2002 to 2004. In 2009, they obtained a DAS Leiterin Human Resources degree from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW. Lastly, from 2013 to 2015, they earned a degree in Mediation/Conflict Resolution, also from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW.
