Janet Mcquillan

Janet McQuillan has extensive work experience in land management, technology, and regulatory law. Starting in 2001, they joined Greenbelt as a Lands Supervisor and gradually moved up to Group Lands Manager, Head of Operations, and eventually Operations Director. In their role as Director of Services, Janet provides advice to clients on designing and managing open spaces in a responsible manner. Prior to their time at Greenbelt, they worked as a Parks Superintendent at Douglas Corporation Isle of Man from 1998 to 2000 and as a Parks Development Officer at Glasgow City Council from 1995 to 1998.

Janet McQuillan has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Glasgow Caledonian University, which they obtained in 1998. Prior to that, they completed their Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies at Stow College from 1996 to 1998. Their education history also includes an HND in Horticulture from Clydebank College, which they completed from 1992 to 1993. In addition, they hold a certification as a Craftsman Gardener from the Incorporation of Gardeners of Glasgow.
