Virender Singh

Virender Singh has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Virender is currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Operations, Maintenance, Project Infrastructure, and Procurement at GreenCell Mobility | A Green Growth Equity Fund Company since September 2022. Prior to this, from September 2021 to September 2022, they worked as the Head of PMO and Business Excellence at the same company.

Before joining GreenCell Mobility, Virender worked as the Managing Partner at Vinihama Business Venture LLP from October 2019 to September 2021.

From July 2014 to October 2019, Virender held multiple roles at Essel Infraprojects Ltd. These roles included Senior Vice President of Business Excellence, PMO, Road Operations, and HR. Virender was responsible for achieving profitability targets for a road portfolio of 1500Cr.

Prior to their time at Essel Infraprojects Ltd, Virender worked at Vodafone as the Head of Business Transformation from March 2010 to June 2014.

Virender also served as Vice President of Change Delivery at HSBC from April 2007 to March 2010.

Earlier in their career, Virender worked at Ispat Industries Ltd (GPI) as the Deputy General Manager of Business Excellence from November 2005 to March 2007. Before that, they worked at Bharti Airtel Limited as the Head of Business Excellence from January 2005 to November 2005.

Virender's career started at Ispat Industries Ltd (GPI) as the Master Black Belt of Six Sigma Deployment Leader from March 2003 to January 2005. Virender also gained experience as a Process Engineer and Six Sigma Facilitator at Samtel from December 1994 to March 2003.

Virender Singh completed their education at the Balaji Institute of Modern Management from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a PGDM degree in Operations. Prior to that, they attended Govt. Polytechnic College hamirpur from 1990 to 1993, earning a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Virender Singh has also obtained several certifications, including EFQM assessor from the Confederation of Indian Industry, IQF Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt from the International Quality Federation - IQF USA, and certified six sigma black Belt from ASQ - World Headquarters.
