Laura Ayan

Laura Ayan has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Laura is currently working as the Director of Sales at Radisson Kalamazoo for the Greenleaf Hospitality Group. Prior to this, they held various roles at Interstate Hotel & Resorts, now part of Aimbridge Hospitality. These roles included Director of Sales at Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Airport, Area Director of Sales & Marketing, Task Force Assistant Regional Director of Sales, Market Senior Sales Manager, and Task Force Director of Sales. Before joining Interstate Hotel & Resorts, Laura worked as a Senior Market Sales Manager and Sales Manager at Marriott, Courtyard, and Residence Inn. Laura also worked as a Sales Coordinator at Hampton Inn & Suites Flint/Grand Blanc. Additionally, Laura has experience in nonprofit organizations, having served as a Board Member and Public Relations Coordinator at Alternative Breaks and an intern at the American Cancer Society.

Laura Ayan attended Saginaw Valley State University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies. In terms of additional certifications, Laura obtained the following: IHG Way of Sales from InterContinental Hotels Group in October 2019, Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) from the Certified Tourism Ambassador Program in February 2019, IHG Brand Champion for the A-Team Region from Interstate Hotels & Resorts in February 2019, Marriott CI/TY Certified from Marriott International in June 2015, and Certified Marriott Access Edge for Select Service & Extended Stay from Marriott International in May 2014.
